Elul is the month to devote ourselves to the sacred work of investigating our souls. It is an invitation to pay attention, to notice what is asking something of us, and to prepare ourselves for the year ahead. It is a gift.

Below is a sermon I had the privilege and honor of giving yesterday at the incredible IKAR. It offers a beautiful introduction to the why behind this offering and the work we are about to begin.
